The Smart Green Gourmet began when a graduate student at Harvard University became overwhelmed by requests for her recipes and by calls from friends and family members asking her for cooking advice. She began to post her recipes and cooking tips to save herself the time of e-mailing them to her fans. Others began to notice. And so, by popular demand, the site evolved into what you see today. The SGG is very busy, travels frequently, and updates whenever she can. Please come back and visit often, and leave a comment or two if you like what you see!
Who is the Smart Green Gourmet?
The Smart Green Gourmet is a Ph.D. Candidate at Harvard University.She has taken cooking classes at the Institute for Culinary Education and the Natural Gourmet Institute in New York City. Her recipes have been featured on Tastespotting.com and on Divine Caroline, one of the 200 most-visited sites on the internet. All after-tax revenues from the Smart Green Gourmet website in excess of operating costs will be donated to the Michael J. Fox Parkinson's Foundation, http://www.teamfox.org.
